I'm a member of a small group in the U. S. How does my group find out what groups may be a suitable match for it?

Contact us using our "Start Connecting" form. We'll look at the information you give us about your group, then contact you shortly with an assessment!

What do you mean by a "village"?

By "village" we mean a group of people relating together on a regular basis.

Are families included?

Sure!

I don't live in the United States. May I participate in a "village" through VillageToVillage.net?

Yes! An Australian friend met us in India to work with several villages there. As for gifts, we prefer them in U.S. Dollars, but we would usually accept other currency.

How do you make sure that the money my "village" sends its counterpart gets there, and is used to meet the agreed-upon need?

We establish relationships with reliable indigenous contacts who have a sterling reputation for honesty. They work with village chiefs and keep good records. We visit regularly to confirm that the money is going to the intended recipients. Administrative costs are practically nonexistent, insuring that your contribution goes directly to those in need.

Once my group makes contact with the village we're relating to, may we send funds directly to the village or must we send it through VillagetoVillage.net?

For purposes of accountability, we prefer that funds are channeled through VillagetoVillage.net.

I'm not a member of any small group that I know of. Do you help place individuals like that into "villages" for the purposes of your mission?
