VillagetoVillage.net helps support two leper colonies in India with food, clothing and medical camps. Leprosy is still very prevalent in the poor sections of India and Indonesia in spite of having a cure for over fifty years now.

One of the camps is now completely supported, but the other, at the edge of a city dump, still needs sponsors.

These truly are the "poorest of the poor" for the stigma of the disease is such that they become "untouchable" even if they are cured and there is no place in Indian society for them and no way to make a living!
